The weasel who would be President understandably abuses his public privilege in this way. Unethical, yes...illegal, probably not.
Buried near the bottom of his remarks (too fast on the simulcast for us to capture them accurately) is, "In fact, as Americans, I believe that we should show an outpouring of respect and tolerance for all people, regardless of their differences or their different choices. We must vigorously reject discrimination and bigotry. We are all God's children. He abhors none of us.
Yet, this was the same POTUS-envy palaver that called for stripping existing rights from homosexuals here. His respect and tolerance embody the opposites. Waving his hands while calling for rejection of discrimination and bigotry does not cleanse his call for exactly those wrongs.
He seems so blinded by his ambition that he places these for all of us to consider. Indeed, we shall.

notice how the cap'n framed the statement, the "we Americans" should bestow toleration upon those lowely other people. i'd die of shock if he ever stated that we're ALL equally Americans and should all respect EACH OTHER. but he's not about respect and inclusion, he's about winning office.
