Reilly Analysis

The Phoenix has done well with Adam Reilly's analysis of Attorney General Tom Reilly's blunder last week. (We're betting they are no relation.)

Clearing the stridently anti-gay initiative to rollback same-sex marriages in 2008 was a huge boost for Deval Patrick's gubernatorial bid, he figures. He quotes one Democratic political consultant as saying, "If I had advised him on this as a political matter, I would have said, '‘This is not a close call. You could end Patrick'’s candidacy today simply by saying no.'’ He made a huge mistake."

Check out the piece for possible outcomes on both Democratic and Republican races.
