Those familiar with my adulation of the Lowell Folk Festival and silence between July and July may be shocked to know that Lowell is open to visitors all year. There's that Lupien lady and the Howe gentleman who beat quiet drums for our fourth largest city.
Last weekend, my two youngest sons and I took in a pair of Lowell's goodies. Check out the affordable fun at the Spinners (Sox farm team) game and go to water level with industrial and union history on a canal tour.
